Challenge training....

Today Louise and I replicated a day's walking on the Challenge.

We plodded 15 km on a mixture of tarmac, mud and gravel. Half way through we discovered a bridge that wasn't there and so we plodded back again.

We took a long time to choose a suitable lunch spot which wasn't too windy, too damp, or had too much sheep poo.

There was a lot of talking too. And a longish debate about whether the small black shape in the sky was a kestrel or a buzzard....

At the end of the day we drank tea and ate scones in the cafe.

Altogether a most enjoyable training day.........so much so that I forgot to take any more pictures.......
