{Across the beach to Seahouses}
Back home after a week on the Northumberland coast where I lead walks from Rothbury, Belford and also some coastal routes and didn't get wet (a Miracle!) despite the weather forecasts.
But I'm struggling with Blogger which has been changed while I was away..... I get this message....
"Your browser is no longer supported by Blogger. Some parts of Blogger will not work and you may experience problems."
It seems I have to download Google Chrome to get it all to work properly............mmmmmm!

Lovely beach!
Hm, I got that blogger message too, but only when I want to go in and do something from the Dashboard, publish a comment etc. I usually do my posts from Livewriter, so I bypass it.
Google are rather taking over I feel.
Cracking picture, Miss!
I use the Google browser anyway, but the last week or so have seen weird changes in how I publish others' comments. It seems to change on a daily basis. No idea why!
I'm trying NOT to download Chrome as last time I did it my computer crashed (almost fatally!).....It's mostly all a mystery to me anyway....
Hi laura,
I use Safari mainly but i have Firefox and Chrome on another PC and i havn’t had any error type messages. Blogger has sent out messages over the last month or so saying that the software is being updated.
What browser do you use and with what operating system do you have?
Hi Alan, My browser is Internet Explorer with Windows XP (I think?) - I had noticed that Blogger has been offering a software update but it wasn't available when I was in France (don't know why)...My issue is that I'm being 'forced' to download Google Chrome...now the Dashboard page is completely messed up although I am managing to find my way around it! It has revealed a certain characteristic of mine - which is to be 'contrary' just as my mother used to call me!
Hi Laura,
I have just tried windows explorer with Vista and it is ok. I have downloaded chrome with vista and its ok too.
I wish i could try xp for you but i don’t have it anymore.
I am sure somebody out there, reading this will have xp with WE and report back.
I have chrome on a notebook and a laptop and it seems fine.
You can download chrome and use it just for blogger and use WE for everything else if you prefer it.
At the end of the day Chrome is just a small file thats made by the same people as blogger, if it makes everything work right what is the problem? Is it the Google big brother thing?
...saying nothing.
Certainly 'the big brother thing' has probably got something to do with it!
Have to confess, I've already taken Al's option of downloading chrome just for using with blogger, when I want to go in and tinker with something specific, otherwise I post from LiveWriter. I have XP with Explorer which I use the rest of the time.
Not that that means anything to me, it's all way too technical!
