En Provence...........

The wi-fi connection in the hotel in Malaucene was rather unreliable so I didn't manage to post last week. The group were great to walk with, the weather was kind, except the first day when it rained, and all in all, I enjoyed it a lot. We explored the countryside around Malaucene, which is on the way to Mont Ventoux. Some walks were further afield to Gordes and Fontaine de Vaucluse.

The panoramic photo was taken with my Nokia phone. I discovered and downloaded an 'app' which takes a series of photos then stitches them all together to make one wide picture. Great fun!

There are a few more ordinary photos taken during the walks, mostly showing bright blue skies, green oaks and white limestone rock formations. The nights were cool though, so Autumn is well and truly here.

It took quite a long time to get back here on Saturday. But now the washing is done and the bags are re-packed. This time we're heading home through Switzerland. First to Saas Fee as Elder Son has his Canadian ski team there for a training camp. After that it'll be on to Zurich to see Younger Son.

The rest of the journey will be visits to relatives in the south of England and possibly a shopping trip or two.

Should be back in Scotland by the middle of the next week! Better look out some winter woolies......
