'Hot' pants......another Honourable Mention

Well....maybe 'warm' pants would be a better title......I've been searching for something to keep the rear end a bit warmer than M & S standards and thanks to Louise (who blogs here) and her good advice, at last I've found the answer.

Just before Christmas I ordered a pair of Icebreaker Boy Shorts at a reduced price from SportPursuit and they eventually arrived just after New Year. I've been wearing them for all my cold weather activities and they've been extremely comfortable and most importantly, warm. Washing is no problem, just throw in the washing machine and then air dry.

One pair is not really enough so last week I searched the online shops for another pair. Not so easy to find except at their full price. I did get lucky though and natureshop had a good offer. So here is another of my Honourable Mentions 2013 - the parcel arrived within a couple of days for a very reasonable international postage cost. Brilliant!

{Very 'eco' packaging!}

I ordered two pairs. Icebreaker gear is too expensive full price but if you can find it at a bargain price then go for it!

{A copied picture - to spare all our blushes!}

I have a pair of these. I will be interested to see what you think about them after or if you do a backpack wearing them.
Good price btw. I paid £35.
Might sound daft but i find them comfier inside out.

As I may have said before, please stop me if I have (too late!!) I wear mine almost daily, all year round. I have three pairs to make this easier. And I've done the vast majority of my backpacking wearing them (one pair at a time).

I don't know if I dare ask. Why are you wearing womens' boy shorts Alan?! No, actually, don't answer that. Please.

Glad you like them! In fact, somewhat relieved. I'd hate to talk pants all the time...

Ho hum.

These are the women's version I'm wearing!

I'm delighted with them Louise - they're smooth almost silky to wear, wash well, fit well, and with so few seams there's no chafing! Can't say fairer than that!

Come on Louise i don't need to explain. But i will. The mens version. There you go.

I'm not at all sure if it's okay to be reading about ladies' shreddies.

I shall have to put it out of my mind when I bump into you both in Braemar. A chap shouldn't know what the ladies are wearing, you know, "down there."

Having said that, our Jeremy is awfully keen on ladies silky panties... Apparently the attraction is their light weight.

Laura, you did know this would attract the wrong kind of attention, didn't you?

Disaster!!

I've just had to sew up my pants! The outside seam at the front of the gusset (oo er) has some how come apart or frayed and I've had to apply needle and thread. I wasn't expecting that.

I'm hoping it's a one off :-(

So do I - sewing is not one of my strong points......
