I'm very relieved to tell you that my daughter is home from hospital and recovering well from surgery. A bit scarred in the tummy department and I'm thinking child-birth might be a doddle after this!
Meantime I've been catching up on all the posts from TGO Challenge finishers and admiring their photos. I'm very disappointed I couldn't continue my walk but I'll try again next year.
In the five days I did manage, I met, walked and camped with some great folk. I know that some didn't get all the way to Montrose but most did - so hefty pats on the back all round!
When I get round to it there are some photos from my 5 days I can post along with a diary of sorts.
Now it looks as though I'll be here in Yorkshire for a couple of weeks yet. I still have my Challenge rucksack with me (and my walking boots) so I just might be tempted to have a few days out and about.
Now, any suggestions for good walks around the Market Weighton area?

Great news about your daughter!
I don't know that area, but if you find a walk then maybe Piglet and I could drive over and walk with you for a day :)
That is a great idea....
The Wolds Way goes through Market Weighton, the link to the website is here http://www.nationaltrail.co.uk/YorkshireWoldsWay/. I've done a parts of it and it's pretty impressive, British Countryside as you'd imagine it.
Glad to hear your daughter is better.
Excellent new! What a relief.
