A few photos...............

.......from this year's Challenge. I've just started sorting the few photos I have from my 5 days walking.

I'm fairly new to carrying a proper camera so I kept forgetting to take pictures!  I used my phone camera on previous trips and as I was always aware of not wasting battery power, I took hardly any.

{This the Last of the Lambies who came with me this year...}

This is a mug shot of Lambie. Unfortunately he didn't get much of a view on the walk as he was usually under a rucksack cover. When my grandson was born I gave him the First Lambie (probably a close relative) as his companion. Over the following months Grandma (that's me) had to replace lost Lambies on a regular basis - this was the last one - sadly by the time it was his turn my grandson had taken a stuffed dinosaur as his best friend........

He didn't get to finish his Challenge of course but did some sterling service in hospital with my daughter - he's now resting.

{TGOC buff made a good sling for the water bottle)

As I had not solved the problem of the leaking water bladder and didn't want to get the contents of my rucksack wet - I carried a small soft bottle in my jacket pocket. That was until the sun came out and I had to find another option. I wonder what other uses the TGOC buff was put to by Challengers? At the time I thought this was quite innovative..............

{Long line of MGs (so I'm told!) - every driver and passenger waving madly......}

Again I seemed to have chosen rather too much road walking on my route. This time it was going to be mainly in the first few days. However the roads weren't busy and passed through spectacular countryside. I was buzzed by these MGs beside Loch Quoich as they (presumably) went to Kinloch Hourn and then again on the way back. When I finally arrived at Tomdoun they had just about eaten all the food at the hotel........

A shame you didn't make it, Laura.
Looking forward to the photos. I'm just getting around to processing mine (not many people on them though!).
